What Are The Advantages To Being A Ltd Company - Would you like to appoint a nominee secretary or director? For companies with one director you are required by law to appoint a company secretary or another director. We can provide you with a nominee secretary for this purpose. Optionally you can appoint a nominee director. Business people are aware that a breach of the rules can lead to companies being struck off and even the prosecution of directors. Delegating the company secretarial work means that directors can be sure that their company is complying with this vastly legalistic area, leaving them to concentrate on their core business. We can perform health checks on company books and records to bring them up-to-date - perhaps in preparation for a sale or merger. Every English, Scottish and Irish company is required by law to have a company secretary. Company secretaries also work in many other types of organisations, such as charities, trade and professional associations, universities, local authorities and the health service.
